In the rare instance that there is an issue recording a live-broadcast, the invalid recording will be placed in your "Invalid Archives" in the MyStreamSpot Customer portal. Files classified as invalid encountered an issue during recording that caused the file to become unplayable by StreamSpot servers.
Archive corruption is caused either by a misconfiguration of the encoder, or issues with the Internet connection between the encoder and the StreamSpot ingest servers. Each recording is stored as it’s received from each encoder, if the transmission is malformed or if sections are missing, it can corrupt the final recording. This happens extremely infrequently and our team is dedicated to ensuring that all archives are successful.
There are several tools that you can utilize to recover the recording that may restore the invalid file for playback:
