What is a Unique Viewer?

When viewing StreamSpot Broadcast Analytics you will see the term "Unique Viewer". For our analytics, a unique viewer is defined by a unique public IP address for the event or time period specified in the report. The analytic info table includes each unique public IP address, along with the number of times the viewer accessed the content for the duration of the event or time period defined. Please note that the reports does not take into account multiple viewers using the same public IP address (ie. a WiFi hotspot at a Starbucks).

For increased accuracy in measuring unique viewers, please enable Google Analytics for your StreamSpot account.
